<strong>Controlling fluctuating circadian rhythms from a theoretical perspective</strong>

Our bodies are composed of dynamic activities filled with &ldquo;waves" and &ldquo;rhythms," such as heart rate, neural activity, thermoregulation, hormone secretion, and sleep-wake cycles. Physiology is the science that seeks to understand these spatiotemporal orders. To visualize these rhythms and unravel their mechanisms, advances in both measurement technologies and theoretical frameworks are essential.This symposium brings together researchers using diverse and cutting-edge approaches: high-precision brain temperature imaging with quantum sensors; waveform analysis of neural activity using novel imaging techniques; theoretical modeling of circadian rhythms; simultaneous waveform analysis of multiple brain regions during stress responses; analysis of brain functional networks through fMRI; and IR laser-based studies of immune signal propagation in plant cells.Through the integration of different systems and disciplines -spanning from brain science to plant biology- this symposium explores physiological rhythms from multiple frontiers. We aim to propose a new perspective for understanding biological dynamics and to highlight how cross-disciplinary collaboration can open new pathways for physiology.
