In recent years, medical education has faced increasingly serious challenges, including faculty shortages, variability in lecture quality, and limited time for research. Compounding these issues is the difficulty in conveying to students a clear and concrete image of how basic medical knowledge will be applied in future clinical settings, leading to decreased motivation for learning. This educational seminar addresses these concerns by promoting the active use of digital content to standardize educational quality and facilitate vertical integration between basic and clinical medicine. On-demand video materials enable flexible, time- and location-independent learning, allowing all students to access high-quality education delivered by experienced faculty. This approach also supports the development of an equitable learning environment. Furthermore, the proposed digital content is intended not only for internal institutional use but also for cross-institutional sharing, aiming to promote collaboration and efficient use of educational resources. Ultimately, this strategy is expected to make teaching more efficient, secure research time for educators, and enhance both student comprehension and motivation. During the seminar, a panel discussion will present and explore a new learning model designed to bridge the gap between basic and clinical medical education.
