Development of the Database to Record Thoughts of the Elderly

　JSPS科研費2014年度、基盤技術A採択課題、高齢者、介護スタッフの思いを記録し記憶へと繋ぐシステムの研究グループは、以下に述べる目的を達成するため、様々な要素技術を研究開発してきた。本セッションではそれらの成果を報告する。<br>　グループホーム（GH）に入居直前、直後の認知症高齢者（本人）を取り巻く状況は悲劇である。家族は介護で疲弊し無関心となり、非日常的空間へ無理やり押し込まれた本人は介護スタッフとの関係性を構築できず孤立無援となる。そこで介護施設が本人の安らぎの空間になるよう、心地よい記憶を形成する補助が可能なシステムを研究開発する。認知症者は短期記憶を残すことは困難だが感情の記憶は残る。過去の記憶だけでなく現在の生活での様々なバーバル、ノンバーバル情報を記録し断片を紡ぎ、本人が幸せを感じる記憶の形成を補助する。これら記録は支える側が本人の記憶のエビデンスとして共有する。これにより本人のQOL向上、介護負担感の軽減を実現する。これは認知症者だけでなく、施設入居の高齢者一般の介護にも有益な支援ツールになる。
