Call for Presentations - Application Procedure
The SIIEJ 2025 theme is "The Transformation of International Education: Technology, Diversity, and Social Responsibility in Higher Education". We are looking for presenters to give workshops, sessions, and poster presentations that are in line with this theme or the recent trend of the internationalization of education. Presenters will also need to pay the conference registration fee (20,000 yen for two days). Details of the presentation format are as follows.

Eligibility to Submit a Topic
Stakeholders of educational institutions involved in the internationalization of education and international educational exchange.
The lead presenter must attend the conference in person.
*Commercial advertising is not eligible for this call.
Presentation Format
In person (workshop, session, poster session)
There is no online format.
Submission Category
When submitting your topic, please select the appropriate category for your presentation from the following categories.
Workshop
- A maximum of 6 sessions will be held: 3 on the first day and 3 on the second day.
- To be held for 3 hours in the morning on both August 6th (Wed) and 7th (Thu), 2025.
- The content should be related to the internationalization of education and the promotion of international educational exchange.
- The format should be interactive, not a lecture format
- It is preferable that participants can discuss and present their findings and produce some kind of output
Session
- A maximum of 18 sessions will be held: 6 in the morning on the first day, 6 in the morning on the second day, and 6 in the afternoon.
- To be held on both August 6th (Wed) and 7th (Thu), 2025, 80 minutes per session.
- The content should be related to the internationalization of education and the promotion of international educational exchange.
- Lecture format is acceptable, but an interactive format is preferable.
Poster
- Posting period: 10:00 on Wednesday, August 6th to 13:30 on Thursday, August 7th
- Poster session: Wednesday, August 6th, 12:30pm to 1pm / Thursday, August 7th, 12:30pm to 1pm
- This event will be for research on the internationalization of education and the promotion of international educational exchange, presentations of work results (good practices), and content aimed at providing opportunities for participants to interact and deepen their learning.
Notification of Acceptance
We will notify you of the acceptance or rejection of your presentation by email address entered when registering your presentation around Monday, April 21st. Please leave the decision on whether or not to accept your presentation to the conference executive committee.
How to Apply
Presentation registration will only be accepted online through this website.
When you first register your presentation, you will be asked to create an account for presentation registration. Please manage the login ID and password you set when creating your account at your own risk and do not forget them. Please note that we cannot answer any inquiries regarding your login ID or password due to security reasons. If you have forgotten your password, please reissue it from the "Forgot your password?" link on the login screen.
Please enter approximately 30 characters for the title and approximately 1200 characters for the abstract.
After completing the topic registration, a submission completion notification email containing the reception number will be sent to the registered email address. The notification is usually sent within a few minutes, but if you do not receive the email, the topic registration may not have been completed. Please check the registration details and register again if it is not complete.
Correction and Deletion after Topic Registration
You can review, modify, and cancel your registered topic as many times as you like until the topic registration deadline.
To review, modify, or cancel your topic, please log in to the topic registration system using the login ID and password obtained when registering the topic.
Notes
For recommended browsers for the topic registration system, please check the system login screen. Even if you access the system with the recommended environment, you may not be able to register your topic depending on your computer environment. If you are unable to register, please try registering your topic from another computer with a different computer environment.
We expect that the lines will be very busy just before the topic registration deadline, so please register as soon as possible. The secretariat will not be held responsible for any incomplete topic registration due to line congestion.
