In OAM transmission, methods to extend the transmission distance by increasing the element spacing are being investigated. The authors have shown that in Rectangular Coordinate Orthogonal Multiplexing (ROM) transmission, the maximum normalized transmission capacity is achieved when the center-to-center spacing of small magnetic current dipole subarrays, with an element spacing of 0.83 wavelengths and 8x8 elements, is three times the length of one side of the subarray. In this paper, we have designed a two-dimensional monopulse waveguide circuit to realize this.
