In general antenna design, planar antennas or similar types are easier to use for antennas with gains of around 20 dB or below. However, for dual-band or multiband applications, if only the feed section needs to support multiple frequencies, parabolic reflector antennas remain a viable option. In this study, we designed and evaluated a parabolic antenna with an aperture diameter much smaller than the wavelength. Due to its compact size relative to the wavelength, we successfully achieved favorable results, which we report herein.
