Although electrically small antennas with a folded structure can achieve wide-band impedance characteristics, they have the drawback of exhibiting large frequency-dependent radiation efficiency. In this study, we calculate the radiation efficiency based on an equivalent circuit and determine the bandwidth, that is the radiation efficiency band, for any given radiation efficiency value.
