In the 300-GHz band, achieving high output power from a transmitter is difficult, and power combining from multiple transmitters using a beamforming circuit is effective. In this study, a quasi-optical spatial power-combining antenna system is designed in which a Rotman lens is formed on a printed circuit board to simultaneously realize power combining and beam scanning by primary-radiator switching.
