In this study, we investigate eavesdropping countermeasures for wireless physical-layer secret key agreement under Nakagami-Rice fading environments with a dominant direct-path component. Specifically, we consider two methods: observing the amplitude of the channel coefficient and removing the most significant bit of the quantized codeword, and evaluate their resistance to eavesdropping through simulations. The results show that the proposed methods reduce the information leakage to an eavesdropper located outside the vicinity of the legitimate receiver, thereby enabling secret key generation while maintaining the Secret Key Capacity (SKC) even in correlated channels.
