Calibration to equalize the characteristics of antenna elements is essential for ensuring the performance of phased array antennas. In this study, we report the results of a performance comparison, based on simulations, between the Rotating Element Electric Field Vector (REV) method and a method using orthogonal codes, both of which have been proposed as calibration techniques for phased array antennas.
