To meet the growing demand for diverse wireless communication services through high-capacity wireless access, the authors have proposed a terminal-driven dynamic site diversity control technology for mobile utilization of high-frequency private wireless networks. In this approach, multiple radio units are installed on the terminal and are adaptively switched to maintain communication quality. Demonstration experiments have been conducted in various application scenarios, including autonomous vehicles and remote operation of construction machinery. Although the proposed technology has demonstrated the feasibility of mobile operation over high-frequency private wireless networks, deployment guidelines, such as optimal base station placement, have yet to be established. In this paper, a ray-tracing simulator is used to evaluate variations in received signal strength under mobile terminal conditions, and key considerations for base station deployment design are identified.
