This paper focuses on CCN implementation at the P2P application layer and proposes a distributed caching scheme for version catalogs using Bloom filters to enable the retrieval of arbitrary versions with low overhead and without prior knowledge. Unlike methods that rely on continuous catalog synchronization across the network, this approach reduces signaling overhead through terminal-driven, autonomous predictive verification.
