As the use of 5G millimeter-wave spectrum expands and preparations begin for utilizing the high-frequency bands anticipated for 6G—such as higher mid-bands and sub-terahertz frequencies—attention is focusing on technologies that can achieve cost-effective coverage expansion and performance improvements, including reflectors and smart repeaters. This presentation will outline global trends and technologies related to these high-frequency bands, while also describing our company's initiatives and the status of discussions within the XG Mobile Promotion Forum (XGMF).
