[C-15-23]Temporal Tracking of Azimuth and Elevation Angles of Radio-Wave Arrival Using Wavenumber-Space Analysis

In real-world environments, radio waves arrive at a receiving point from multiple directions due to reflection and diffraction caused by obstacles. Because these waves spatially overlap when observed, it is difficult to identify the primary directions of arrival. Therefore, we estimate the direction of arrival (DoA) of the radio waves by transforming the electric field distribution into the wavenumber domain. In this report, we track the temporal changes in the direction of arrival by applying a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) to the electric field distribution near the receiving point—obtained via the Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) method—to estimate the azimuth and elevation angles.
