We have proposed an amplifier configuration in which the input signal to a power amplifier is split into a constant-envelope component and an envelope component, and amplifiers that amplify the constant-envelope component and the envelope component, respectively, are arranged in parallel. In this paper, we propose a configuration in which the amplifier that amplifies the envelope component is linearized. This enables higher efficiency in the amplifier that amplifies the envelope component and improves the overall efficiency of the proposed configuration.
