This report proposes an analytical model of a single-shunt rectifier considering harmonic components generated by the diode, device parameters, and load resistance, aiming to simplify diode selection and evaluate diode loss at the initial design stage of an RF-DC rectifier. The analysis was performed for an HSMS-2820 diode using SPICE parameters. The proposed model showed good agreement with circuit simulation results obtained using Keysight ADS. Input power characteristics, load characteristics, the effect of harmonic termination, and device-parameter sensitivity were evaluated.
