This study evaluates the resonance frequency shift of an inkjet-printed flexible coplanar waveguide (CPW) open-stub structure under curved-surface mounting conditions. Foam-covered cylindrical supports were used to vary the curvature while keeping the contact material between the sample and the support uniform. Measurements were also performed on practical objects, including PET bottles (empty and water-filled), a paper-based container, a glass container, and a metal can. Under the foam-covered conditions, the relative frequency variations were less than 1% across the entire curvature range investigated, indicating that the resonance characteristics are relatively insensitive to curvature alone. In contrast, larger resonance frequency shifts were observed for some practical objects, particularly water-filled and conductive supports. The results obtained provide a valuable insight into the resonance behaviour of the inkjet-printed CPW open-stub when mounted under curved conditions, and offer a practical understanding of the relative contributions of curvature, supporting material, and internal medium to the resonance-frequency shift.
