Valley currents, more generally “flavor” currents, in graphene superlattices are promising. Systematic engineering of the energy-band structure was demonstrated in our dual-gated hBN/bilayer-graphene superlattices. Quantum valley currents are detected and manipulated in our setting by non-local transport properties.
