Oxide-semiconductor is widely recognized as the mainstream of thin-film transistor (TFT) technology due to its exceptional balance between superior electrical properties and good manufacturability. Beyond the success in flat-panel displays, oxide-TFT technology is currently gaining significant attention for various applications in next-generation energy-efficient and cost-effective electronics, including flexible, wearable, and sustainable electronics. Here, recent advances in the field of oxide-TFT are presented, reviewing the progress of both n-channel and p-channel oxide TFT development focusing on device mobility and the current progress of oxide-inverter developments.
