"Currently, the ISF  is the only international platform where issues related to fats and oils can be discussed from a truly global perspective, rather than being confined to regional viewpoints.
For example, topics such as trans fatty acids and glycidyl esters are often debated within the context of specific regions like Europe or North America, sometimes lacking consideration of the broader global landscape.

Given this situation, I believe it is critically important to further enhance and reinforce the role of the ISF as a central forum for international dialogue. Strengthening ISF is essential to ensure that global challenges in the field are addressed with the depth and balance they require.
