Changes from previous annual meetings
In anticipation of the post-corona era conference, there will be various changes to the conference management at this annual meeting (WOOD2024 Kyoto).
1. Online distribution of oral presentations: In principle, oral presentations will be held face-to-face, but presentations will also be distributed online. Please note that online viewers can only listen to the lecture (but cannot speak), and for Q&A with the presenters, please use the presentation summary comment function (chat function) of the Confit system.
2. Use of e-posters in poster presentations: In principle, poster presentations will be held face-to-face, but in order to avoid crowding in the venue and ensure a sufficient poster display period, e-posters from the Confit system will be used in conjunction with the poster presentations.
3. Downloading the participation badge: Participation badge will not be sent in advance. Please download it from the participant's My Page on the Presentation/Participation Registration Site, print it, and bring it with you.
4. On-site distribution of research presentation program collection (booklet): Research presentation program collection (booklet) will not be sent in advance. At the venue reception, your participation in the conference will be confirmed using the QR code on your participation card, and you will be given a research presentation program collection (booklet). The research presentation program collection (electronic version) will be posted on the conference website (Confit) along with the abstract collection (electronic version).
5. Application for participation in banquet and Wood Science Mixer (WSM): Please apply for participation in banquet and WSM using the Confit system at the time of application for participation in the conference. Please note that due to Confit's system, you will not be able to apply to participate in the social gathering or WSM after the tournament participation fee has been settled.
