For realizing a new 99Mo/99mTc production system using electron linear accelerators, we are working on a W-Mo target assembly and activated carbon chromatography. Here we present the basic design of the target assembly, and its expected 99Mo/99mTc production yields in conjunction with the activated carbon chromatography.
