As an important astronomy popularization institution in China, the Beijing Planetarium effectively promotes public astronomy education by holding special night events such as "Planetarium Night" and building a diversified science popularization education system. The report highlights the "Planetarium Night" brand event, which centers on major astronomical events or festival themes and combines forms such as dome film screenings, expert lectures, science popularization plays, workshops, experimental shows, telescope observations, and VR experiences to provide the public with immersive astronomical exploration experiences. Projects such as "Cosmic Experiment Show" and "Astronomy with Skillful Hands" designed for teenagers stimulate their interest in astronomy through experimental demonstrations and handicraft making. In addition, the Beijing Planetarium attaches great importance to the integration of online and offline activities as well as the combination of traditional culture. For instance, the "Starlight Dance Dragon Boat Festival, Children's Joy on Children's Day" garden party attracted over 14,000 offline participants, and the online live broadcast was watched by more than 1.7 million people. These practices have successfully connected the public with the mysteries of the universe through methods such as stratified education strategies, prioritizing interactive experiences, and interdisciplinary integration, providing valuable references for popular science innovation in the international planetarium community.
