In Japan, there are about 300 planetariums in operation. This is the second largest number in the world after the United States. This is despite the fact that Japan's land area is only 4% of the United States’. However, not all citizens can learn in the planetarium. There are various factors, such as the fact that the area of residence is far away, there are many schools that do not conduct classes using the planetarium, and it is difficult to stay in the facility because the person himself has a handicap. A mobile planetarium can be set up anywhere as long as the minimum requirements are met. Also, because it is a small-scale planetarium, it can provide users with projection content that is optimized for them. The benefits of this are very effective in achieving Equity, Diversity, and Inclusiveness. In Japan, there are very few planetarium presenter who operate mobile planetariums. The main reason for this is that the mobile planetarium is not well recognized by society. Additionally, mobile planetariums may be considered simple and do not fulfill the functions of a typical planetarium. In order to improve this situation, we are working to raise awareness of the mobile planetarium service. The poster introduces our group and the unique mobile planetarium presenter.
