[SP-JP1-02]Introducing EDI Initiatives and Diverse Planetarium Programs

Star Weaving Village is a Japanese nonprofit organization working under the mission “Sharing the Star with All.” We deliver mobile planetarium experiences to children with serious illnesses, disabilities, and long-term hospitalization, as well as their families and caregivers.
This presentation introduces several EDI-related activities in Japan, including “TANABATA for Peace,” inclusive planetarium practices, and a 7-meter dome planetarium experience. We will share how planetariums can create spaces where diverse people can experience the sky together.
