I want to propose a one-hour workshop to have an interactive conversation about trends in the fulldome space shaping the future of our industry. From LED domes, evening entertainment shows, live concerts, corporate events, theatrical performances, and even opera and feature film adaptations, domes are no longer limited to stories about astronomy and science. Domes are becoming mainstream immersive theaters, attracting a wider audience of all ages, ethnicities, and socio-economic backgrounds. This creates new economic opportunities for planetariums, museums, and science centers. Domes are quickly becoming community spaces where people can connect around shared interests.
