Tomoaki Natsukawa, M.D., Ph.D. International Committee, Japanese Association for Disaster Medicine (JADM) / Yodogawa Christian Hospital Session Overview: The Annual Meeting of the Japanese Association for Disaster Medicine is the largest academic conference on disaster medicine in Japan, bringing together disaster health professionals from both domestic and international communities. It provides an ideal platform for discussing the strengthening of National Emergency Medical Team (N-EMT) systems and advancing international cooperation in the field of disaster medicine. In the first half of this session, the focus will be on regional collaboration in the ASEAN region, with particular emphasis on the ARCH Project, one of the few Japan-associated multilateral collaboration models in disaster medicine. Speakers from ASEAN countries and the ARCH Project will present practical experiences related to N-EMT activities during recent disasters, policy development and strategic coordination, the development and implementation of education and training programs and exercises, as well as the expansion of ARCH Plus initiatives and their future directions. This part of the session will highlight how sustained regional collaboration contributes to strengthening national disaster medical systems. In the second half of the session, attention will shift to wartime medical response in Ukraine. Since the full-scale invasion, Ukraine&rsquo;s health-care system has faced unprecedented challenges, including mass casualty response, management of severe trauma, infection control, preparedness for CBRN risks such as chemical weapons, and medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) within and beyond national borders. Ukrainian speakers will share operational experiences related to the wartime medical response system, health-care education and training structures, and MEDEVAC operations. By integrating lessons from disaster medical collaboration in the ASEAN region with wartime medical experience in Ukraine, this session aims to go beyond simple case presentations and identify core challenges and transferable lessons common to disaster and emergency medicine. Through this approach, the session seeks to contribute to improvements in Japan&rsquo;s disaster medical system, education and training, and wide-area medical transport capabilities, while also serving as a foundation for future two-way and multilateral collaboration based on support needs expressed by partner countries. &nbsp; セッション概要（日本語） 日本災害医学会は、国内外の災害医療関係者が一同に会する国内最大規模の学術集会であり、National Emergency Medical Team（N-EMT）体制の強化および災害医療分野における国際協力の深化を議論する最適な機会である。 本セッションの前半では、日本の関係する数少ない多国間災害医療協働モデルであるARCHプロジェクトを中心に、ASEAN地域における地域連携の取り組みを取り上げる。ASEAN各国およびARCHプロジェクト関係者から、近年の災害におけるN-EMT活動、政策開発や戦略的調整体制、教育・訓練プログラムや演習の開発と実装、さらにARCH Plusの展開と今後の方向性について、実践経験に基づく報告が行われる。本パートでは、地域レベルでの継続的な協働が、各国の災害医療体制強化にどのように寄与しているかを明らかにする。 後半では、ウクライナにおける戦時下の医療対応に焦点を当てる。全面侵攻以降、ウクライナの医療体制は、多数傷病者対応、重症外傷診療、感染制御、化学兵器を含むCBRNリスクへの備え、国内外への医療搬送（MEDEVAC）など、未曾有の課題に直面してきた。ウクライナ側講師団より、戦時下における医療提供体制、医療者教育・訓練体制、MEDEVACシステムについて、実運用に基づく経験が共有される。 本セッションは、ASEAN地域における災害医療協働の知見と、ウクライナの戦時医療経験を統合的に捉えることで、単なる事例紹介に留まらず、災害医療・救急医療に共通する本質的課題と汎用的な教訓を抽出することを目的とする。これにより、日本の災害医療体制、教育・訓練、広域医療搬送体制の改善に資することを目指すとともに、各国から示された支援要望を踏まえ、将来に向けた双方向かつ多国間の協力関係構築の基盤とする。 <a href="https://shinsen-mc.co.jp/jadm31/media/english_session.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><img src="https://shinsen-mc.co.jp/jadm31/images/english_session.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="566"></a>
