[IS2]Research trends on electronics materials in Korea

The electronics industry, including semiconductors, displays, and batteries, is the source of Korea's industrial competitiveness. R&D for electronic materials is an essential element for the sustainable growth of the Korean economy. R&D for electronic materials is not an option for Korea, who has experienced that reliance on a specific country for key materials can have a fatal blow to the entire industry. In this lecture, the current status of R&D of three representative electronic materials for the electronic industry, such as semiconductors, displays, and batteries, will be mainly introduced with major achievements.
