本セッションでは、主に地球科学の視点で水循環・水環境に関連する分野を横断的に 連携し、総合的な解析や評価手法を構築することを目指している。具体的には、地下 水・湖水・地表水・蒸発散・熱水系といった水循環のプロセス研究、流域や地域、地 球規模の環境問題を扱う水環境の研究、水に係わる生態環境科学的、地球化学的視野 に立つ研究、その他の水文学的な研究が含まれる。
