[Introduction]
Basic information of the patient: Male, 48 years old, anterior tooth trauma for 10 years, missing more than 2 months. History of present disease: The patient suffered a right upper anterior tooth trauma 10 years ago, underwent "root canal therapy and crown repair" in an external hospital, and was removed 2 months ago due to looseness.
[Case Summary and Treatment Details]
Examination: General oral hygiene of the whole mouth, a large number of plaque stones can be seen in the neck of the lower anterior teeth; 11 missing, extractive cavities healed well, 21 slightly mesio-tilted, the size of missing space was basically normal; Overbite coverage is normal. CBCT showed that bilateral condyle shape and anterior-posterior space were normal. The thickness of the labiolingual bone plate in the missing tooth area is about 4mm, and the distance from the incisor canal is relatively close. Diagnosis: maxillary dentition defect (11 missing). Treatment process: The thickness of labiolingual bone plate of alveolar bone in the missing tooth area is insufficient, which is not suitable for implant repairing; At the same time, the patient did not accept movable denture restoration and required minimally invasive molar, so the missing anterior tooth was finally repaired by using dental Polyetheretherketone(PEEK) bonding bridge with lingual lateral plate. After the abutment color comparison, 12, 21 lingual teeth were prepared in a small amount, and the adjacent surface of the abutment was concave to form an axial emplacement path. Cut and make the Peak bonding fixed bridge, try it on, fix it with resin adhesive after fitting, adjust the occlusion.
[Progress and Discussion]
Peak adhesive fixed bridge repair of anterior tooth loss, the patient felt that aesthetics, function, pronunciation is ok, patient satisfaction. For the missing anterior tooth area of patients, the minimally invasive Peak bonding fixed bridge can be used to repair the missing anterior tooth without implant repair, which reduces the amount of tooth preparation and obtains the best aesthetic effect and function.
