Active nano-pixel waveguide was fabricated using InGaAsP-MQW membrane structure. Spontaneous light emission was clearly observed with Fabry-Perót resonance of 40 nm, 36 nm, and 31 nm spacing respectively that corresponds to the cavity length of approximately 20 µm, 24 µm, and 26 µm, respectively.
