Flexible inverted perovskite solar cells were fabricated on parylene/ITO substrates. When the device platform is transferred from rigid glass/ITO to flexible parylene/ITO, the bottom ITO/HTL/perovskite interface becomes critical because of changes in the substrate surface, ITO resistance, adhesion, and thermal/mechanical stability. In this study, we focus on the simultaneous optimization of the parylene/ITO substrate and SAM-based hole-selective interface for flexible inverted perovskite solar cells. This combined approach is expected to improve film formation, interfacial compatibility, and hole extraction at the bottom interface. Preliminary flexible devices were successfully fabricated on optimized parylene/ITO substrates, indicating the feasibility of this strategy for developing mechanically compatible flexible perovskite solar cells.
