We demonstrate a vehicle-mounted optical frequency comb based on a polarization-maintaining nonlinear amplifying loop mirror fiber laser for open-path field measurements. The system was installed in the trunk of a vehicle and maintained its output power and spectral bandwidth under vibration conditions with a peak acceleration of up to 1.3 g. Furthermore, phase locking of the optical frequency comb was achieved under these conditions, demonstrating its potential for application to multi-heterodyne spectroscopy using an optical frequency comb and a continuous-wave laser, as well as to dual-comb spectroscopy using an additional optical frequency comb.
