Figure-9 fiber lasers provide an ideal platform for optical frequency combs, combining an all-polarization-maintaining configuration with a broad spectral bandwidth and low-noise characteristics. However, the difficulty in shortening their physical cavity length has limited their fundamental repetition rates to approximately 250 MHz. This restriction has posed a challenge for highly sensitive precision spectroscopy, which requires high repetition frequencies. In this study, we addressed this issue by miniaturizing the intracavity components and applying a precise cavity design, successfully achieving a high repetition rate of up to 404 MHz. Furthermore, by integrating this high-repetition-rate laser with a high-resolution comb-mode filtering technique, we obtained multi-milliwatt-level optical power per single comb mode. Finally, we demonstrated the direct application of this system to highly sensitive spectroscopy.
