Organic photodetectors (OPDs) are promising for flexible sensing but are limited by the brittleness of conventional indium tin oxide (ITO) electrodes. This study evaluates ITO/Ag-Pd-Cu/ITO (ITO/APC/ITO) multilayer transparent electrodes for flexible OPDs. The ITO/APC/ITO electrodes demonstrated high visible transmittance and lower sheet resistance than conventional ITO. Bending durability was tested over 500 cycles at a 5 mm bending radius (1.1% tensile strain). The sheet resistance of the ITO/APC/ITO electrode increased minimally from 17.4 to 18.6 Ω/sq (R/R0 = 1.07), whereas conventional ITO degraded significantly from 50 to 237 Ω/sq (R/R0 = 4.74). OPDs fabricated with a ZnO/P3HT:PC61BM/MoOx/Ag architecture on ITO/APC/ITO retained ~92% of the peak external quantum efficiency (EQE) compared to ITO-based reference devices. These findings establish ITO/APC/ITO as a highly durable, transparent, and conductive electrode candidate for flexible OPD applications.
