In this work, we proposed a high-sensitivity and high-resolution system using a dispersion-tuned wavelength-swept fiber laser. The laser achieves a sweeping range of approximately 50 nm, a sweeping rate of 5 kHz, and a static linewidth of about 0.06 nm. By using its non-mechanical, broadband, and high-speed sweeping, the absorption spectra of a hydrogen cyanide gas cell is successfully retrieved with a high-bandwidth photodetector.
