This work presents an optical frequency comb (OFC) generation technique using cascaded Highly Nonlinear Fibers (HNLFs) and Four-Wave Mixing (FWM). The optimized configuration generates 42 comb lines with approx. 2 dB power deviation and improved spectral flatness. The proposed approach offers a simple solution for DWDM and a high-capacity optical communication system.
