This study investigates size-dependent Mie resonance coupling in spherical TiO2 nanoparticles with oxygen-vacancy defect emission. By combining scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) with cathodoluminescence (CL) detection, nanoscale visuallization of mie resonance is possible. Polarized CL maps revealed enhanced emission at the particle edges, indicating the enhanced defect fluorescence due to the coupling with Mie resonance. To estimate the resonance wavelength, polarized CL spectra from strongly coupled edge regions were compared with weakly coupled center regions. The enhancement ratio showed that larger TiO2 nanoparticles exhibit a red shift of the enhanced wavelengths. These results demonstrate that nanoparticle size can control Mie resonance coupling and provide useful insight for designing fluorescent dielectric nanoparticles with tunable emission properties for photonic applications.
