Now, aluminum is manufactured by electrolytic refining, however, a lot of electric power consumption is unavoidable. Here, we performed the fundamental trial for the carbothermic reduction method of aluminum. The carbothermic alumina reduction process has many reaction path through the monoxides and carbides. The understanding and controls of these reactions is required.
