[1901-09-01]Evaluation of the Inhibition Kinetics of As (III) on Nitritation by two different measurements

In this studies, two different methods, i.e. SOUR (specific oxygen uptake rate) and SNPR (specific nitrite production rate) have been applied to evaluate the inhibition kinetics of As(III) on nitritation.The inhibition kinetics of As(III) on short-cut nitrification was studied by batch experiments.For SOUR,the IC5 was 83.78mg/L,The SOUR was reduced.With the NO2--N characterization,the IC5 was 86.56mg/L,the maximum SNPR increased from the original 1.58mgNO2--N/(g vss/h) to 1.29mgNO2--N/(g vss/h), the overall trend was the same as DO.
