Along with the consumption of resources, the existing of possible resources supply shortage and landfill burden are outlined as serious issues. In order to alleviate the problems, it is important to improve the efficient development and utilization of resources, as well as conducting the sustainable development of resources industry. Consequently, the sustainable development attracts a huge attention from the world. Even though the concept of sustainability analyzed and studied for a long time, the evidence still shows that there are some gaps before we achieve the resources sustainability. Considering these, this research is conducted based on system dynamics analysis of the closed loop supply chain of products. Through the system dynamics analysis, the authors aimed at depicting the stock and flow of the resource consumption along with closed loop supply chain, as well as discussing and further promoting resources sustainability through scenarios study. Undoubtedly, the development of closed loop supply chain and some other concepts such as reuse, recycling and so forth are beneficial for the sustainability. However, considering the function and influence of manufacturers in the high-tech and fashion industry, especially realizing the main driving force of the manufacturers is the revenue, the resource sustainable consumption will never be achieved automatically by the system itself. Therefore, more effective and completeness regulations are needed to help to improve the sustainability of the resources industry.
