[21001-14-14]Study of an indicator management system for WEEE recycling treatment plant in Taiwan

In 1998, Taiwan provided a subsidized model to promote the waste electrical and electricity equipment, WEEE recycling treatment system that has made the WEEE recycling system implement well. In 2008 there were 15 treatment plants running in Taiwan, but a survey found 10 plants equipment operating capacity less than 20% in 2010. Therefore, a study focuses on the quality management to the treatment plant evaluation through the idea of electronic product environmental assessment tool, EPEAT criteria was carried on, an innovative management model was studied and developed. This study introduces the process of those indicators setting for treatment plant operation criteria and gives researcher a chance to understand the relevant conditions of WEEE treatment and the specification requirements to treatment plant management.
