[PE1-038]Platinum group metal separation by thiodiphenol-based n-dialkylamino extractants

To elucidate platinum group metals (PGM) extraction from Pd(II) and Pt(IV) included solutions using n-dialkylamino extractants, we synthesized novel n-dialkylaminomethyl-thiodiphenols as one of ion-pair extractants and investigated their PGM extractabilities toward Pd(II) and Pt(IV) from single-component solutions, and leach liquors of automotive catalysts.
