Au, a kind of precious metal with unique characters, is wildly used in not only electronic products, catalysts, but targeted drugs as well. And more and more attention has been paid on the recovery of it. We report on adsorption and recovery of Au using Poly-N-phenylglycine (PNPG) membrane which could be formed on a commercial mixed cellulose ester (MCE) membrane through vacuum filtration of PNPG suspension after the synthesis of PNPG nanoparticles by chemical Polymerization of N-Phenylglycine (NPG). The effects of solution pH, contact time, and initial concentration of Au on the adsorption capability were investigated, and characterization analysis of this adsorption film were performed.
