[MC2-1]Gain Control in Multi-Core EDFA with Hybrid-PumpingInvited

Hybrid pumping enables the gain control of each core independently from the other cores of a multi-core erbium-doped fiber amplifier (MC-EDFA) employing cladding-pumping. This paper reviews hybrid-pumped MC-EDFAs and shows the investigation of gain controllability.
