[B-7-10]Fault-Tolerant Quantum-Assisted Drone Mesh Networking for Disaster Response with X-FACE Integration

This paper proposes a Fault-Tolerant Quantum Link Recovery Controller (QLRC) that enables autonomous recovery of communication routes before local link degradation affects mission operations. The proposed QLRC operates as a local control function within each drone. Rather than relying on
centralized network management, each drone continuously evaluates neighboring links using a Quantum Link Resilience Score (QLRS). The objective is to maintain continuous connectivity between first responders and X-FACE, allowing disaster management teams to sustain operational awareness even under severe network disruption. The results demonstrate that the proposed method reduces interruptions caused by local link failures, and under disaster conditions, the mechanism also reduces average end-to-end latency by 32.4% compared to normal classical communication.
