The Advance Lightpath Reservation Service (ALRS) enables users to reserve dedicated wavelength paths in advance. As ALRS evolves toward premium optical services, Request Blocking Probability (RBP) becomes an important service-quality metric because users expect immediate reservation availability. However, some request types, such as short-booking-window (BkWd, the interval between a reservation request and the start of usage), long-hop, and long-duration requests, experience significantly higher RBPs than the average over all requests. These are collectively referred to as High-RBP Groups (HRG). This paper proposes an Adaptive Resource Pool (ARP) mechanism that guarantees class-level RBP targets. ARP combines an online RBP estimator with dynamic wavelength-pool allocation, enabling providers to maintain service-level guarantees while limiting resource cost. The proposed framework is evaluated through simulation and compared with the conventional Full Sharing Scheme (FSS).
