Message from Organizer
As the chair of the conference, I am delighted to announce the holding of ACMB-JSMB2025 here. This conference is the fruit of one of the continuing activities of international exchange in the field of mathematical biology that has been taking place in the Asian region. The international research meeting on mathematical biology that began between China and Japan in 2006 has been held regularly every two years to date as the CIJK International Conference on Mathematical Biology, with the participation of Korea and India. This time, we are holding the conference in Kyoto in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Japanese Society for Mathematical Biology (JSMB). We would like to expand the scope of this international academic exchange and hold it as the Asian International Conference on Mathematical Biology (ACMB). We would like to invite outstanding researchers from Asian countries and also invite participants from around the world, not just from Asia, to contribute to academic exchange in mathematical biology. We are also using this opportunity to expand the scope of mathematical biology. In addition to the traditional core fields of mathematical biology, such as ecology, evolutionary biology, epidemiology, developmental biology, and molecular biology, we are also focusing on fields where mathematical methods are growing rapidly, particularly network science, biophysics, mechanics, joint research between experiments and mathematics, data science and AI, and drug discovery. We hope that all conference participants will enjoy the exciting academic exchange in Kyoto in 2025.
