We have studied the elimination of ⁹⁰Sr from sea water into biogenic calcite. Sr of 1 mM decreased up to 1/10 within 1 days. Electron microscopy and XAFS analyses elucidated the accumulation of Sr in the structure of Ca-carbonate.
