In this presentation, recent progresses in the develoment of KURAMA-II, which has been widely used for the surveys of air dose rate and contamination in eastern Japan, are introduced. Main topics are The development of a robot for the visualization of soil contamination in farmlands and the progresses in the development of extremely-small KURAMA-II equipped with a LPWA radio unit are introduced.
